Mission What We Do How to Help Apartments Contact Brochure

Bethel House, Inc. provides a low cost, supportive living environment for those living with HIV/AIDS.

Taking into consideration the benefits of individuality, we endeavor to provide an environment conducive to a path of healing and recovery for all.

In January of 1988, Bethel House, Inc. was formed to provide housing at a reduced rate for persons living with HIV/AIDS in the Rocky Mountain region. We are non-discriminatory and open to all people regardless of age, race, creed, gender, sexual identity or country of origin.

We are a melting pot of individuals, a group consisting of all ages and  backgrounds. Bethel House, Incorporated functions as a 501 (c) 3 Non-Profit organization under the supervision of a Board of Directors.

Recognizing the significant need for intermediate housing, we are committed to locate, establish and oversee suitable residences for Persons With HIV/AIDS (PWA's) who are caught in the middle; those who are incapable of full-time employment, but do not yet require the services of a hospice.

The availability of appropriate care facilities, particularly those with an open door policy, is severely limited in the Denver Metropolitan area.  We believe Bethel's residences will cut the length and costs of hospitalization, and therefore, the drain on public funds. This will in turn relieve overcrowded institutions while providing support for family and friends of PWA's. We also believe that through the operation of Bethel House, Inc. the public will recognize the continued urgency of the HIV/AIDS crisis.
